Peterborough United sign winger Abraham Odoh
Darren Ferguson says he's ideal to bring in following the departure of Ephron Mason-Clark
Peterborough United are to sign winger Abraham Odoh from League Two side Harrogate.
Odoh has agreed a three-year deal for an undisclosed fee.
The 23-year-old was scored 10 goals in the last season, with Harrogate finishing 13th in the table.
The winger started his career in non-league before moving to Charlton Athletic.
He spent two seasons with Rochdale before joining Harrogate in July 2023.
It is Posh's first signing of the summer.
Oduh said he "can't wait to get started".
He added: "It has all happened quite quickly, but when I heard of the interest, it was obviously something that I wanted to get done because it is a step up for me and at a club that is always competing at the top end of the division.
“When I spoke to the manager, he outlined what he wants and how he sees me fitting in and I can’t wait to get started.
"I like to play football with a smile on my face, I like to try and make things happen in the final third.
The deal will ratified when the transfer window opens in mid-June.
Posh boss Darren Ferguson says he's a player they have been "watching for a while now", adding: "He has been one of the most consistent players at that level.
"He has real potential to develop, and we feel he is the ideal player to bring in following the departure of Ephron Mason-Clark.”
The deal will ratified when the transfer window opens in mid-June.
