A charity in Peterborough that helps refugees says they could do with more help to support a number of asylum seekers across the city.

"It was shocking news to receive this information. But we are working together with other agencies to bring them support. But they want to get the support from everyone".
Moez tells us what help will likely be needed for any new arrivals:
"Arriving in a new city from where they come from they need a lot of support for example with GP registration and warm clothes."

Peterborough's MP Andrew Pakes, and North West Cambridgeshire's Sam Carling have said they've spoken to ministers to express their 'strong opposition' to the plans for the Dragonfly hotel.

The Home office says they remain committed to ending the use of hotels for asylum seekers but they have to take immediate action to start processing
