Pedestrians seriously injured in fail-to-stop collision

A man and woman, who were out walking with a seven year old child and a dog have been seriously injured

Police are appealing for witnesses and dashcam footage following a hit-and-run incident in Cambridgeshire that seriously injured two adults

The incident occurred last night at 9:55 p.m. on Brinkley Road, Burrough Green, near Six Mile Bottom. A man and a woman were walking with the child and a dog when a car mounted the pavement, striking them. The man and woman sustained serious but not life-threatening injuries, while the dog suffered significant injuries. The child was not injured.

The vehicle involved in the collision, described only as silver, did not stop and left the scene.

Police are urging anyone who witnessed the incident or has dashcam footage to report it through the force website
