Owners of a 10-foot nutcracker decoration which was reportedly stolen from a garden display on the 26 November are appealing to the public.

The decoration had been part of a festive outdoor display at a village home, but the theft means the Christmas display will not be the same this year, they said.

Footage of the suspects has been captured and will be handed to the police.

They also encouraged locals to look out for the nutcracker being sold elsewhere, as they believe the suspects are not from the village.

They say whoever is responsible is on the naughty list.
