Multi-car crash in Stretham
The road was closed for several hours following the incident
Two people were taken to hospital following a four-car crash on a Cambridgeshire road. Police, paramedics and firefighters were called to Ely Road, Stretham, shortly after 6pm last night (August 7).
One person, who was seriously injured, was cut free from their vehicle by firefighters. Police said their injuries were not life threatening.
Four other people were out of the vehicles when police arrived. The road was closed for several hours as a result of the incident.
Paramedics took two people to Addenbrooke's Hospital in Cambridge for further treatment.
