Motorcyclist, 20s, dies after collision with Tesco van in Foxton

A man's been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving

Police are appealing for witnesses and dashcam footage after a motorcyclist died in a collision on the A10 today.

Officers and paramedics were called to the junction with Shepreth Road, in Foxton, at about 8.40am this morning (11 April).

A white Iveco Tesco van travelling northbound was involved in a collision with a green Kawasaki motorcycle travelling in the opposite direction.

The rider, a 22-year-old man, from Cambridge, later died at Addenbrooke’s Hospital and his family has been informed.

A 52-year-old man from Royston has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and remains in custody.

Detective Sergeant Craig Wheeler said: “I would like to hear from any witnesses or anyone with dashcam who hasn’t already spoken with officers at the scene.”
