Man hospitalised after stabbing in Cambridge

A man has been taken to hospital after reports of a stabbing on Market Hill in Cambridge.
The incident happened in the early hours of this morning (10th October).
A man has since been arrested and an investigation is ongoing.
A Cambridgeshire police spokesperson said, "We were called at 3.10am today with reports of violence – namely a man that had been stabbed on Market Hill, Cambridge after being approached by two other men.
"Officers arrived on scene two minutes after the initial call and searched the area. One man has been arrested so far in connection with the stabbing and enquiries are ongoing.
"Paramedics attended and the man was taken to hospital with serious but not life-threatening injuries, where he remains.
"A scene is in place to preserve any forensic evidence and an investigation has been launched. Anyone with any information can contact police online quoting crime reference 35/76982/25 or incident 49 of 10 October. Call 101 if you do not have internet access."
