Man's body recovered from St Neots river on Boxing Day

Officer's say his death isn't being treated as suspicious

A man has died after a body was found in a river in St Neots on Boxing Day.

Cambridgeshire Police say they were called to near Priory Lane around 8:35 yesterday morning, following reports to the force.

The body was pulled from the river and has since been identified, with his family now informed.

Officer's say the death isn't being treated as suspicious and the case will be handed to the coroner.

Police are requesting privacy for his family.
