Man seriously injured after incident in Cambridge centre

A man has been released on bail with another male in hospital with serious injuries after an incident in Cambridge city centre.

Cambridgeshire police were called yesterday afternoon to St Andrew’s Street.

The male arrested on suspicion of causing GBH with intent has been released on bail until January 6.

Cambridgeshire police said: “We were called at about 1.15pm yesterday with reports of violence involving two men in St Andrew’s Street, Cambridge."
