Man seriously injured after 'car cruise' in Haddenham
Police were called to reports of violence in the village
A man was taken to hospital with serious injuries after reports of violence in Haddenham.
Cambridgeshire Police were called to Station Road on Saturday, 17 June where hundreds of cars were reported to have met up.
‘We were called at 10.30pm on Saturday night to reports of violence at a car cruise in Station Road, Haddenham,” a police spokesperson said.
“Officers attended and a 21 year-old-man from Essex was arrested in Elean Business Park, Sutton, on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving after a man was struck by one of the vehicles.
“He has since been bailed to appear at Parkside police station in Cambridge on 18 September - the victim was taken to hospital with serious injuries.”
The actual number of vehicles involved in the car meet is unclear.
