Man killed in Ramsey Forty Foot named by police

A man was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving

The family of a man who died in a crash in Ramsey Forty Foot earlier this month have described him as a "beloved son, brother, nephew and friend.”

On the 8th of January, 25-year-old Alex Paynter died when the motorbike he was riding collided with a grey BMW on Forty Foot Bank

Mr Paynter was pronounced dead at the scene.

A 57-year-old man from the Chatteris area, was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and bailed until 27 March.
