Police are appealing for witnesses after a man was stabbed in Cambridge.

The victim, in his 50s, was attacked in Station Square, at around midnight last Thursday (16th May).

He was taken to Addenbrooke's Hospital with serious but not life threating injuries.

The suspect is described as a man wearing a dark hooded top with white lines down the shoulders and arms.

He was also wearing black trousers with a white patch on the hips and had black shoes on.

Police say the suspect cycled off on a white bike towards Devonshire Road.

DC Andy Watters said: “This was a shocking assault and I am appealing for people to come forward with information.

“It took place in a busy area, outside Cambridge Railway Station, and we know there were taxis in the area and people walking past.

“If you saw anything, please do get in touch.”
