A 100-metre cordon was put in place this morning (18 November) after police discovered potentially suspicious items during a warrant at a property on Welland Close, St Ives.

Specialist Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) officers were called to assess the situation, and local residents were evacuated as a precaution.

The cordon has now been lifted, residents have returned home, and the road has reopened.
