Lorry driver jailed after causing deadly crash near Peterborough

56-year-old Mindaugas Borisas crashed into a car in stationary traffic last July, setting off a pile-up that killed 73 year old Geoff Brock.

A lorry driver has been sent to prison for almost five years after a deadly crash on the A1 near Peterborough.

Mindaugas Borisas, who's 56 and from Spalding, drove into the back of a car stopped in traffic, sparking a pile-up in July last year - Killing 73 year old Geoff Brock at the scene.

There were no other injuries.

Borisas has also been banned from driving for more than twelve years.
