'Most flexible person on planet' from Peterborough earns FIFTH world record
Liberty Barros has performed around the globe
A teenager from Peterborough - also known as 'the most flexible person on the planet' - is celebrating earning a fourth and FIFTH Guinness world record.
Liberty Barros now has the title for the most splits in one minute - AND the most double arm hula hoop rotations in 30 seconds whilst wearing a human belt - Liberty, herself being the human belt.
Liberty, 16, features on the front cover of the 2024 Guinness World Records and has performed all over the globe - including in Hollywood and Times Square.
Bringing through next generation
The viral sensation says she's looking at using her skills to help raise money for schools across the country:
"I'm hoping to get to schools in the UK to talk about the Guinness World Records and do some book signings; I am in talks to raise money for schools and promote movement and health," she said.
"I've begun training people and I want to bring through the next group of flexibility artists; it would be great to see my students on TV and have the success I've had."
Reaching new heights
Liberty's competed in five different Got Talent shows around the world and has been awarded one golden buzzer, on Britain's Got Talent in 2022.
And now, she is on the hunt for more records.
"World records are really hard so I'm not sure how many more I can do, but I'm determined to keep improving and applying for more," she added.
"I hope to represent Cambridgeshire and the UK well and I want to make the nation proud.
"I feel laser focused because on my fifth world record, I gusted it out but thankfully due to my conditioning, I managed to get through but I know I can do more so I'm back to the gym and back to training."
