It's been a night to forget for the Conservatives in Cambridgeshire with just two seats in the county staying Tory at this General Election.

Seats that were previously blue have switched to Labour, while the Lib Dems made gains in areas that had been Conservative.

That includes Ely and East Cambridgeshire, where Liberal Democrat Charlotte Cane beat now former Culture Secretary Lucy Frazer by a majority of 495.

While another of the biggest shocks in the county came in North West Cambridgeshire, as Labour's Sam Carling beat former Northern Ireland Secretary Shailesh Vara to overturn a previous majority of 26,000 votes.

Mr Vara had held the seat since 2005.
