Man arrested after 12-year-old girl injured in hit-and-run in Wisbech
The 31 year old has been released on bail
A man's been arrested on suspicion of drink-driving and having no MOT, after a 12 year old girl was injured in a hit-and-run in Wisbech.
The child was taken to hospital with minor injuries after the incident on Ramnoth Road just after 8am yesterday (11/5).
The 31 year old man arrested has been released on bail.
Cambridgeshire Police released the following statement:
"We have arrested a 31-year-old man from Wisbech on suspicion of drink driving, failing to stop and no MOT after a collision in Ramnoth Road, Wisbech, at about 8.10am yesterday."
"The man has been bailed pending further enquires.
"A 12-year-old girl was taken to hospital with minor injuries."
