A former Cambridgeshire Police officer has been found to have committed gross misconduct.

Former PC Ryan Rolfe was based at Huntingdon Police Station, and resigned as an officer in May 2024.

A hearing, which concluded on October 8th, found Rolfe to have 'breached the Standards of Professional Behaviour in respect of Authority, Respect and Courtesy and Discreditable Conduct', amounting to gross misconduct.

Chief Constable Nick Dean said Rolfe's actions "has the potential to dent public trust and confidence at a time when police forces are under immense scrutiny" and he should have been upholding the highest standards.

Chief Constable Dean also said "There is no place for misogyny in our workplace", as well as commending the victims that came forward to report Rolfe's behaviour.

Ryan Rolfe has been placed on the College of Policing's barred list.
