Failed water pump causes flooding on main South Cambridgeshire road

Officers say no one was seriously injured

A major road in Cambridgeshire has flooded after a failed water pump.

Police say they were called to reports of a collision between three vehicles on the A428 at Hardwick yesterday morning (Thursday 4th).

Officers tell us there were no serious injuries and no arrests have been made.

The road was closed after the collision round around 6:30am, but the road has since re-opened.
