Fire engulfs Fenstanton former Burger King
An investigation into the cause of the fire is due to take place today
Firefighters are returning to the scene of a blaze in Fenstanton this morning to determine the cause.
Five fire engines, an aerial appliance and a water carrier were called to the old Burger King building on the A1307 yesterday afternoon just before 5:30pm.
Around 25 firefighters battled the blaze, which saw the roof of the building collapse.
It was extinguished by the evening with crews damping down hot spots around 8:30pm.
No injuries have been reported, with residents nearby urged to keep their windows and doors closed whilst the fire was alight.
Cambridgeshire Fire and Rescue say a fire investigation will be carried out this morning to establish the cause.
