Family pay tribute to Soham man

Police have named the motorcyclist who died following a collision last week

Police have named the motorcyclist who died following a crash on the A142 near Soham last week.

40-year-old, Joshua Bendall, of Barway Road, Soham, was involved in the incident on the 6th April when he was riding his Kawasaki motorcycle and it was involved in a collision with a Volvo XC90, at the junction with Northfields Road.

His family said:

“Josh was a much-loved father to three wonderful children. All of his family and friends are heartbroken by his death, and his loss leaves a large hole in all our hearts. We believe that he is now in God’s love and keeping.”

A 56-year-old woman from Soham was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving. She has since been released on bail until 10 May.

Police are asking for anyone who witnessed the collision or has relevant dashcam footage to visit their website or call 101 quoting incident 531 of 6 April.
