Cambridgeshire dog rescued by firefighters after getting stuck in a hole
Poppy the puppy had quite the paw-matic experience but was saved in the end
Poppy the dog was trapped in a large hole in a field in St Neots, Cambridgeshire, on Thursday afternoon.
Luckily, trained animal rescue firefighters were soon on the scene to save the pup. Her family are "extremely relieved" as five firemen came to get the dog out of trouble.
Cambridgeshire Fire and Rescue joked that it was a rather "ruff morning" for Poppy, who was unharmed in the incident.
The fire service are certainly due a round of 'a-paws' for their heroics!
