Two people were taken to hospital after a crash today.
Cambridgeshire Police and the East of England Ambulance Service were called to Twentypence Road near Wilburton following the crash.
A spokesperson for the East of England Ambulance Service said two ambulances were called to the area.
"One hazardous area response team vehicle, two ambulance officer vehicles and the Magpas ambulance attended the B1049 Twentypence Road, Wilburton this morning following reports of a road traffic collision," said the spokesperson.
"Two patients, one with serious injuries, were transported to Addenbrooke's Hospital."
The road remains closed in both directions between Wilburton and Cottenham following the crash.
A spokesperson for Cambridgeshire Police said: “We were called at about 8am today with reports of a collision between two vehicles and one car in a ditch on Twentypence Road, Wilburton.
"Emergency services are at the scene and the road is currently closed.
"Details of injuries are unclear at this stage. "
The spokesperson said motorists are advised to find an alternative route between Wilburton and Cottenham.
