Two men seriously injured in car crash near St Neots

Police are appealing for witnesses after a collision near St Neots left two men with serious injuries.

It involved a BMW 320, a Vauxhall Astra and a Hyundai Tucson and happened on the A428 westbound at Eltisley at about 5.45pm yesterday (23/1).

Emergency services attended the scene and the road was closed.

The driver of the BMW, a 61-year-old man, was taken to Hinchingbrooke Hospital with serious but not life-threatening injuries. The Hyundai driver, a 37-year-old man, was also taken to hospital with serious but not life-threatening injuries.

In a statement police said: "Anyone who witnessed the collision, or has dashcam footage, is urged to contact police via Cambridgeshire Constabulary's website quoting incident 360 of 23 January. Anyone without internet access should call 101."
