Cambridgeshire motorcyclist labels some roads as 'like riding on a rollercoaster'
He's calling for the next Government to make much-needed repairs

A motorcyclist hopes the next Government can go some way to improving the state of some of Cambridgeshire's roads.
All of the major political parties have pledged to invest in repairing and resurfacing roads, or investing in cycleways and footpaths, across the country ahead of the general election.
Keith Philpot's an instructor at AAA Motorcycle Training and believes potholes are a particular issue for road users.
'You get bounce from one side to the other'
"They are dangerous for cars but motorbikes particularly being lighter, you get bounce from one side of the road to the other and it would also provide work for people, which would generate a tax income which is good for the Government anyway," he said.
"When they're (emergency services) transporting the patient with broken limbs to the hospital, they bounce through those potholes and while the Government has billions to spend, perhaps some of that could be diverted to rebuilding our own infrastructure."
Road improvements promised
In March, Cambridgeshire County Council said it would be improving roads and footpaths, which it said work would take place until next spring.
Keith also believes the location of 20mph speed limits should also be reviewed.
"As a motorcyclist on the roads, people don't see you; it's raising awareness amongst drivers and the conditions of the roads, some of them are like riding on a rollercoaster," Keith added.
"Those that are doing 20mph and following the law have people coming up behind them very fast because they're doing 30 or 40mph.
"I understand the need for a 20mph limit in a heavily built-up area, but they're everywhere and there's no need."
