"Loved and loyal" cyclist dies after Sawston crash

The family of a man who died after a crash in Sawston have paid tribute to him.

The family of a man who died after a crash in Sawston have paid tribute to him.

Arjun Gurung was cycling southbound on the A1301 last Monday evening (27 may), at about 7pm, when he was involved in a collision with a grey Citroen travelling northbound.

The driver of the car wasn't harmed, and she is helping police with their investigation.

The 33-year-old died later that week at Addenbrooke's Hospital.

In a tribute, his wife Deepa said: “Arjun was a loved and loyal son, brother and husband.

"We will miss him dearly.”

Cambridgeshire Police is asking anyone with information about the crash, or dashcam footage, to contact them.
