Arson attack caused fire at Grade II listed restaurant in Fordham

A fire which destroyed much of a Grade-II listed restaurant in Cambridgeshire was caused by an arson attack, police have said.

Around 40 firefighters tacked the blaze at the Indian Garden on Church Street, Fordham, at around 6am Monday (14th).

It destroyed the downstairs and left the building structurally unsafe.

Offices are appealing for information and asking any witnesses or anyone with CCTV who could assist to get in touch.
