Cambridge woman jailed for steeling to feed drug addiction
Esther Loveridge stole items including chocolate, meat, cheese and fragrances on 17 occasions
A woman who stole from shops across Cambridge to feed her drug addiction has been jailed.
The 42-year-old stole from stores including Co-op, John Lewis, Aldi and Sainsbury’s.
Loveridge was handed a two-year Criminal Behaviour Order (CBO) in June 2024 not to enter any Co-op in Cambridgeshire as well as Tesco in Hills Road and East Road, Sainsbury's in Trumpington and Sidney Street, John Lewis and TK Maxx.
At Cambridge Crown Court on 22 August, Loveridge was sentenced to 20 months in prison after pleading guilty to 17 counts of shop theft and 12 breaches of a CBO.
She was also given another two-year CBO with the same conditions.
