A man who dealt drugs between Cambridge and London, along with other criminal behaviour, has been sentenced to more than six years in prison.

Samuel Navo, a 31-year-old from Colebrook Way, London, was arrested twice this year in connection to drug supply and dangerous driving.

Officers arrested Navo in London on 30th July, finding him in possession of a large knife and a mobile phone.

A search of his home revealed class A drugs, cannabis, and evidence of drug-dealing activity, including messages on his phone showing his involvement in supplying drugs in Cambridge from March to July.

Navo had also been involved in a dangerous driving incident on 4th April.

Driving his black Ford Kuga, Navo failed to stop for police and led officers on a chase through areas including Balsham, Fulbourn, and Cambridge before being arrested.

At Cambridge Crown Court on 24th November, Navo pleaded guilty to several charges:

  • Being concerned in the supply of heroin
  • Possession of a knife in a public place
  • Dangerous driving
  • Driving while disqualified

He was sentenced to six years and eight months in prison and disqualified from driving for three years and eight months.
