A body has been found in the search for a missing man in Cambridge.

Robin Haines, 84, was reported missing to police on Friday (3rd May) after he failed to return to his home in Little Shelford.

Cambridgeshire Police said a body was found at Jesus Lock on the River Cam in Cambridge at around 11.30am today.

"Formal identification is yet to take place but Mr Haines' family have been informed and they have expressed their gratitude for the support from people on social media," a police spokesperson said.

"The death is not being treated as suspicious and the case will be passed to the coroner."
