Body found in search for teenage boy at lake near Cambridge

Emergency services searching for a missing 16 year old boy from Essex at a lake near Cambridge say they have found a body.
Police responded to a call at 5.26pm on Monday, reporting concerns for a teenage boy in the water at Burnside Lakes in Cherry Hinton, near Cambridge.
The boy, 16 years old and from Essex, was reportedly swimming with friends when he encountered difficulties.
Search teams located a body in the lake at approximately 1pm on Tuesday.
Although formal identification has not yet been completed, it is believed to be that of the missing boy.
His family has been informed.
