The A428 in Cambridgeshire is closed in both directions between the A1 (near Wyboston) and B1043 (Barford Road Roundabout) due to a spillage of hydrochloric acid from a Heavy Goods vehicle.

Cambridgeshire Fire and Rescue Service are believed to be at the scene.

National Highways service say providers are also assisting with traffic management and specialist clear up works.

Drivers are being diverted via local roads, but we are being advised to avoid the area or delay journeys if possible.
