Woman rescued from the water in Bristol

Emergency Services were called just after midnight

A woman has been rescued from the water in Bristol.

Emergency Services were called in the early hours of Friday morning (07/07) to reports of a person in the water.

Avon Fire and Rescue say they were called at 00.34 am.

They attended the scene at Bedminster Bridge, where they found a woman in the water.

We're told she was resuced.

Earlier this week, the service shared advice on what to do, if you find yourself in water.

Their advice is "Float to Live"
