Vehicle fire leads to delays on M5
The incident was reported earlier today.
One lane of the M5 has been closed this morning following a collision.
There is heavy traffic building on the motorway at junction 19, Portishead.
Traffic has been building up since around 7:50am.
National Highways stated:
"The #M5 southbound is closed between J19 #Portbury and J20 #Clevedon due to a vehicle fire.
Emergency services are on scene.
There are 2 miles congestion on approach to the closure. Please allow extra journey time."
