It happened in the Westbury-on-Trym area at around 2:50pm on Monday 17 April.

Avon and Somerset Police say it involved a pedestrian and a car on Canford Lane and the pedestrian, a man in his 70s, was pronounced dead at the scene.

A woman in the car, who was also in her 70s, died later in hospital.
