Avon and Somerset Police say they are "keeping an open mind" as to whether two incidents of girls being touched inappropriately in Yate, are linked.

An E-Fit has been released of the suspect in one of them, which happened on Friday 14 January on Slimbridge Close, at around 4pm.

The offender is described as white, with blonde hair, aged in his 20s and around 5ft 9ins tall, wearing a light red, blue and white block colour coat, dark trousers and blue trainers.

Two months later another incident at the same time of day, in an underpass near Sandhurst Street also saw a girl touched inappropriately.

On both occasions the victims were able to run away and were not hurt.

If you recognise the man in the E-Fit or have any information that could help the police, you're asked to call 101 and give the call handler the reference numbers 5222011047 for the January case or 5222067867 for the one in March.
