The Sugababes have been named as the first headliners for this summer's Bristol concert series Siren.

Organisers have announced the news this morning (12 February), saying the hip hop trio will perform in the Bristol Amphitheatre on Thursday 1 August.

Tickets will first become available this Thursday, before going on general sale on Friday (16 February) at 10am.

"Reunited and better than ever, the Sugababes’ catalogue of R&B, soul and dance chart-toppers has provided the soundtrack to endless summers, and Siren is about to Push the Button on the ultimate 2024 playlist," a statement announcing the news reads.

"Headlining the Thursday night of the music series, the harbourside performance will have audiences moving with some of the biggest names in dance music soon to be announced."

Siren has become a major feature of the dance music scene in Bristol.

Last year's edition saw Sean Paul take the stage, as well as electronic DJ Wilkinson and drum and bass duo Fabio & Grooverider.

Tom Hoyle, Co-Founder of Siren, said: “Having Sugababes headline at Siren is going to be an extraordinary experience for all of us.

"They’re one of those bands that have connected with so many different audiences and their music holds so many memories for people - and now we get to be a part of creating new memories with them, which is unbelievable.

"Back-to-back bangers as the sun sets on the harbourside, what more could you want from a summer’s night in Bristol?”

On Sunday 3 August, Hospitality on the Harbour will be taking over the Siren stage for a day of drum and bass.

The event will feature Andy C, the first DJ to sell out Wembley Arena.

Tickets will be available over at the Siren website , starting from £35.
