Special stamps mark 40th anniversary of Only Fools and Horses
Twelve stamps feature famous one liners from the show as well as the main characters
A special set of stamps are being released later this month (16/02) with iconic scenes from Only Fools and Horses to mark the show's 40th anniversary.
The comedy was partially filmed in Bristol - with Whitemead House near Ashton Gate Stadium being used as Nelson Mandela House in the show, where the Trotters lived.
Twelve special edition stamps are being released in total. Eight feature famous one-liners from the sitcom while the other four focus on the main characters.
Some of the moments being used for the stamps include Delboy falling through the gap in the bar, and Uncle Albert's famous line 'During the war...'.
The iconic show first broadcast in 1981 and followed Del Boy, a market trader from Peckham who was played by Sir David Jason and his younger brother Rodney, played by Nicholas Lyndhurst.
The show last hit our screens in 2003 after seven series and several Christmas specials.
