The M48 Severn Bridge has reopened, having been closed due to high winds.

The decision was made to shut the bridge at around 7pm last night (Monday 3 May) with one lane on either side closed earlier in the day.

Drviers were instead being diverted onto the M4 Prince of Wales bridge.

A yellow weather warning for wind is still due to last until 9am.
