Police investigating serious crash in Weston-super-Mare

Police are continuing to investigate a serious crash on the A370 near Weston-Super-Mare.

Officers responded to reports of the collision at around 10pm last night (11 September) - the force have since reopened the road.

In a statement the police said: ""Officers were called at around 10.20pm following a report of a serious collision on the A370 in Hewish, near Weston-super-Mare, yesterday (Tuesday 10 September).

"The road was closed overnight between the M5 Junction 21 roundabout to Congresbury while officers carried out a full investigation of the scene.

"If you were in the area and witnessed anything, or have any relevant footage and have not yet spoken with police, please call 101".
