Police are appealing for help to identify two individuals following a robbery in Bristol last month. Officers believe they may have information that could assist the investigation.
At around 12:30am on Saturday, 1 February, three people approached two teenagers near the Tesco supermarket in Eastville. The group threatened the victims before stealing two bags – a handbag and a crossbody bag. One of the teenagers was punched in the face, sustaining redness and soreness.
The suspects fled in the direction of Stapleton Road and Berwick Road, Easton. The stolen bags were later recovered, but items inside, including a watch, keys and a purse, were missing.
Police have arrested one person on suspicion of robbery in connection with the incident. They have been released on bail while enquiries continue.
Officers have released images of two people they wish to speak to. They are described as white teenagers wearing black puffed jackets. One was dressed in black trousers, a black cap, and trainers, while the other was wearing blue jeans and black trainers.
A police spokesperson said: “We are keen to speak to the individuals in the images as we believe they may have information that could help our enquiries. If you recognise them, or have any other relevant information, please contact us.”
