Pedestrian suffers potentially life-threatening injuries after crash with cyclist in Nailsea
Avon and Somerset Police say the incident happened at about 12.15pm today (October 25)
A pedestrian is in hospital with 'potentially life threatening' injuries after she was involved in a crash with a cyclist this afternoon (October 25).
Police were called to the scene at about 12.15pm today to the incident which involved a pedal cyclist and a pedestrian on Bucklands Lane in Nailsea.
A man who was with the pedestrian was also hurt but his injuries are not believed to be either life-threatening or life-changing.
The woman's next of kin are aware of the incident, whilst the man on the bicycle was uninjured and remained at the scene.
Bucklands Lane has been closed to traffic by police today except for pedestrians while officers examine the scene.
