Motorcyclist seriously injured in A370 crash

Their bike collided with a coach earlier (Monday 31st March)

A motorcyclist in his 20s has been taken to hospital with serious injuries, following a crash on the A370 this morning (Monday 31st March).

The collision involved a motorbike and a coach near Hewish, at around 7.15am.

The rider's family has been informed.

Avon and Somerset Police closed the road between Congresbury and junction 21 of the M5 (for Worle and Weston-Super-Mare) for around five hours, to allow for investigations and recovery.

The route has since reopened.

There's now an appeal for any information about the collision.
