More bin disruption in the West Country
Bath and North East Somerset Council are warning there could be disruption to collections as refuse workers walk out
B&NES Council are urging residents to put your waste out for collection as usual amid strike action with refuse workers.
They're walking out all week over pay, in connection with the local government national pay award.
The authority say refuse centres could also impacted but add they're doing all they can to minimise disruption.
The possible disruption could impact waste, recycling and garden waste collections because of the industrial action by the Unite union, within B&NES Council's Waste and Recycling service.
The action starts today (September 18) and lasts until Sunday, September 24.
B&NES Council add there may also be disruption at their recycling centres in Midland Road, Bath and Midsomer Norton, and say they 'are working hard' to minimise any disruption caused.
You're being urged to put your recycling/garden waste or refuse waste out as usual.
For recycling and rubbish collections, if they have been unable to collect, they say they will not be able to return later in the week.
You're urged to take your bins/boxes back in and bring them out again on your next scheduled collection.
