Man taken to hospital following stabbing at Bristol leisure park
It happened at Hengrove Leisure Park over the weekend - with an 18-year-old currently in police custody
Police are investigating a stabbing in south Bristol which saw a man taken to hospital.
Officers say it happened in Hengrove Leisure Park at just before 11am yesterday with witnesses reporting a man attack the passenger of a car before driving away.
An 18 year old man has been arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm and he’s currently in custody... the victims injuries aren't thought to be life threatening.
In a statement, Avon and Somerset Police said: "Officers were called to McDonald’s in Hengrove Leisure Park just before 11am yesterday (Sunday 3 September).
"Witnesses reported seeing a man on foot attack the passenger of a car, which then drove away. Officers have located the injured man, who is in his teens.
"He is receiving hospital treatment for injuries which are not currently believed to be life-threatening or life-changing. His next of kin have been informed.
"An 18-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm and he’s currently in custody."
