Man stabbed in Fishponds
The suspect has been described as a boy in his mid to late teens
A man is in hospital after being found with suspected stab wounds in Bristol.
Avon and Somerset Police were called at 12:30pm on Thursday (17 August) to reports a man was being stabbed in the Guinea Lane area, before leaving the scene.
He was found by officers in Forest Avenue a little later at 1:50pm.
The man, in his 40s, remains in hospital receiving treatment but his injuries are not thought to be life threatening.
Witnesses describe the suspect as a boy in his mid to late teens with a small build who was wearing a black hoody and mask at the time.
They reportedly left the scene on a private e-scooter.
"At this stage in the investigation it seems this was a targeted attack with no evidence to suggest any wider threat to the community," a statement from Avon and Somerset Police reads.
Officers want to hear from anyone with information which could help, especially if you saw the incident or have any dashcam, CCTV or doorbell footage of the Guinea Lane/Fishponds Road area between 11.30am and 12.30pm on Thursday 17 August.
