Man arrested after Stockwood Pump Track fight

A crime scene is in place after a fight between an older man and a group of younger people on Sunday night

Part of a South Bristol bike park is sealed off as a crime today (April 24) after reports of a stabbing.

Avon and Somerset Police have confirmed a fight broke out at Stockwood Pump Track at around 9pm on Sunday evening (April 23), between a man in his 60s and a group of younger men.

A 61-year-old man was taken to the Royal United Hospital in Bath for treatment and has since been arrested, while a 16-year-old boy and a 20-year-old man were also injured and taken to the Bristol Royal Infirmary.

None of the injuries are deemed to be life threatening or life changing.

"A cordon is currently in place at Stockwood Pump Track to allow specialist crime scene investigators examine the area," a statement from the police reads.
