Man arrested after fatal crash on M32

A man has died after a single vehicle crash on the M32 near Bristol.

Police were called to the scene at around 10:15am on Sunday 6th October, to reports a grey Citroen C4 had left the northbound carriageway at the junction 1 exit slip road.

A man in his 30s was pronounced dead at the scene, while a second man, also in his 30s, suffered minor injuries and was taken to hospital.

That second man has since been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and causing death by driving while over the prescribed limit of alcohol.

Avon and Somerset Police believe several motorists were in the area at the time of the crash and are asking anyone who saw what happened or has dashcam footage, to ring 101 and quote the reference number 5224263220.
