Man and woman racially abused in Pill last month

A man and a woman in their fifties have reportedly been racially abused in North Somerset.

It happened on the 2nd February on Baltic Place in Pill, but police have only just released the information.

Police tell us the incident took place at about midday on Friday 2 February, when the pair were subject to a racially aggravated public order offence.

The offender is described as a white man, of slim build with dark hair who was aged in his late 30s or early 40s and was using a wheelchair.

PC James Coglan said: “Our investigation is now well underway with a number of enquiries having already been made, including checking CCTV footage.

“We now want anyone who witnessed the incident, or who has any other information about it, to come forward.”
