Iconic clay figure set to go up for auction
The eight-inch model of Morph is being sold
The modelling clay figure 'Morph' is set to be auctioned for charity later (12 September).
The iconic creation has been donated by Aardman's co-founder Peter Lord to raise money for St Peter's Hospice in Bristol.
The auction is taking place at Clevedon Salesroom at 10:30am.
The plasticine model comes with a signed authentication card from Peter Lord stating:
"This is a genuine hand-made MORPH. I know, because I made it myself!!"
There is also a doodle of Morph's face beneath signature, and further comment "He's made of modelling clay.
"Sometimes they last for YEARS, but the material can crack when it dries up. Peter L".
